Yarra Yarra Members Max Moring and Jazy Roberts win the Dunes Medal

The Dunes Medal is on of Victoria’s most prestigious amateur golf tournaments with the tournament attracting leading amateur golfers from Australia and abroad, notable names on the honour role include Hannah Green, Min Jee Lee and Jason Day.
The 2024 tournament was held from Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 November with Yarra Yarra Members Max Moring and Jazy Roberts winning the men’s and women’s tournaments.
Max won with a score of 280, 8 under par to win by a shot. He birdied 2 of the last 3 holes in a clutch finish.
Jazy won with a score of 278, 10 under par which gave her a 9 shot win.

The tournament is the perfect warm up event for those amateur’s who are lucky enough to have a spot in this years Australia Open to be held at Kingston Heath and Victoria golf clubs . The event is played over four rounds on the challenging links-style course, known for its rugged dunes and coastal winds. The winner earns recognition and ranking points, making it a significant event in the amateur golfing calendar.
