David Cade Autumn Cup

The final of the David Cade Autumn Cup was contested on Saturday 18 May between Leo Lui and Andreas Haggren,
Following a tightly fought front nine with both Members playing good golf Leo was 1 up, the match was very close for the early stages of the back nine before Andreas made his move by holing a long putt for the win on 16 and he then finished the match off by winning the 17th to win 2 and 1.
Congratulations to both Andreas and Leo on making the final and to Andreas on winning.
The Autumn Cup was first played for in 1940 and renamed The David Cade Autumn Cup in 1990. David Cade represented the Club in Pennant from 1935 to 1955.
He was captain of the Club from 1950 to 1952 and was appointed a Life Member in 1978.
